Description

(to anyone who'll tell me teddy bears aren't animals - this one is animate, okay?)

The Teddy Bear! Misio od łyżeczki! The main theme and second-main character (along with this homicidal John fellow - and no, it's not a JTHM rip-off, I didn't name the guy, I didn't even come up with the story) to our (me and my monkey's) would-be comic, as of yet untilted (but probably it'd have been something with "teaspoon" in it).

Since more of the comicverse drawings I've done will be put up, I suppose I might as well give you the gist here.

1. How it came about? Well, my monkey had to write a story for class. Somehow, a ditty about a homocidal maniac killing people and scooping their eyes out with spoons came about. The punchline was that once the police caught him, he agreed to go to the loonybin because they gave him a teddy bear.
2. What's it about? The maniac guy. And the bear. And some very weird surreal things.
After the guy's in the hoz, the teddy bear is taken away from him. Thing is that the bear is animate and emotive! And he misses the loon. And rescues him, even though the guy really likes it there. And they go to the Netherlands and live happilly ever after - they fund a religion (łyżkizm, z ramienia liberalnego - łyżeczkoizm, z ramienia ortodoksyjnego - łyżkofizm) and a museum of spoons. And adopt a baby ethiopian. And some other fucked up shit.
3.Huh?! Um. It's an outlet for the crazies we get.
4. Why didn't it work out? Creative differences. And since I was the only person really pushing stuff to get done, when I got annoyed with my monkey's unfamiliarity with the comic style, I just stopped pushing. And things stopped.

But I might go back to it, if I ever feel the need for some crazies in my life. I've always wanted to make a comic, after all. And I'm partial to the maniac guy. He seems like a pleasant fellow.
