i was browsing your gallery and i found this image particularly arresting.

the foetal-like position, turning into itself
& i interpret it as male. the mutilation seems to be greater than a mere loss of limbs, its as if a man without arms has lost his masculinty (because masculinity is not all about the cock). he is no longer capable of being the hunter, the strong one, the bread-winner etc.

i guess i see it as a damaged human with no longer a sense of worth or cause for existence.

all that said, i dont think it works in oil pastel.. or maybe it just needs to be darker or more defined.. or something.
