PINATA: unconditional

A story about Kiri, a cabby from my urban-fantasy universe, unexpectedly picking up a stray dog off the streets.

I'm a little bit meh on the writing (seems so amateurish... or fan-fictionish); but I generally love Kiri and Ghitumi, and that universe in general. This story could possibly be a conclusion to both of the women's lives thus far -- yep, a pretty optimistic one. Another piece featuring them is boots, the 8th chapter of PINATA. Which also seems a little bit better written.

This is the 13th (of 14) story of PINATA, my 2008 NaNoWriMo novel. PINATA is a collection of detached shorts on various subjects and in various forms. Beyond some minor spelling/syntax corrections, and one single-plus-half page piece being removed, the state is nearly same as the first time they were written. I have no pretense of them being good, although I do hope that they are at least bearable. All feedback is greatly appreciated.
